• Local Execution: The WebAssembly conversion engine runs inside your browser tab using your device's CPU/GPU resources.
• No Backend Image Storage: Because image conversion happens in your browser, your selected photos are not transmitted to or stored on a HEIC.dev conversion server.

3. Website Network Traffic & Information Collection

While selected image files are processed locally, the HEIC.dev website makes standard network requests to serve page resources, security features, analytics, and advertising:

• Technical Logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent) are used for security and anti-abuse monitoring.
• Analytics: We utilize anonymized analytics to understand site usage and improve performance. No personal identifying information (PII) is associated with these metrics.
